Our goal at Wildside Winery is quality grapes and wine. We believe that quality wine is made in the vineyard.  How do you define quality? We try to maximize flavor, not quantity.  We define success by the number of times we hear "Wow!".  Thats when we know we've succeded. We also try to produce a wide selection to satisfy all tastes.  We limit production to ensure that each grape has maximum flavor. This flavor is evident in the wines we produce. Our berry wines are pure berries. We don't add any water - this is rare in making berry wines. Why? - It's expensive! We want to be known for the best wines at reaonable prices.

Thank you for supporting us!

Welcome to Wildside Winery!

Check out our changes in 2007:

Update: We now have our construction permits and a contractor so you'll start seeing some progress on our expansion shortly!

We are building a nice deck for a place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.

We are also planning an expansion with additional indoor seating and storage.  This will give more tank space and room in the tasting area.  It will also add two nice bathrooms.

Wildside Winery is a five acre vineyard with European, hybrid, and American grapes. We've been making wine since 1998.

The grape varieties (see the vineyard page for more):

One acre of Cabernet Sauvignon - The classic big red grown for quality dry red wine that will compete with the best.

One half of an acre of Seyval Blanc - Great for a dry white wine with a note of citrus.

One acre of Cayuga White - makes a delicious semi-sweet white wine reminiscent of Reisling.

One quarter acre of Foch and a quarter acre of DeChaunac - These hybrid reds blend well to make very smooth, enjoyable red wine.

Lsst spring's planting was an acre of Cynthiana and half an acre of Chardonnay. Cynthiana is a very robust red. Chardonnay is of course the classic dry white.

2007's planting is an acre of Blackberries and 1/4 acre of raspberries for our world famous "serious" berry wines.  This will add to our existing berry plantings and allow us to increase production so we don't run out so quickly.

Check out the wine page and pictures on the following pages for more information about our wines.
